Polygon Love 2, I need help

Everytime I try to play this game I get an error. The pic is here

So did you search the whole folder for that file?

Also, for people that may be more smart about that then I am, maybe add which OS you are using (i.e. I could guess Win7 works a bit differently than the other Windowses and that file might be somewhere in the system files of the older Windowses)

It's an XP or a Vista. Perferably XP because it's my laptop.

It says quite clearly that you need shift-jis. Run the game under japanese locale first.

I did that on my Vista also. No luck. ;l

Don't use the launcher or the front-end, those are outdated. My advice? go over to Hongfire, and look for the big Polygon Love 2 thread (about 200 pages or so, I think.) Ask Chacyung or one of the other folks there about it. I also would have suggested downloading the best version of PL2 that was in Chacyung's signature, but last I saw, he had all the files on Megaupload, and of course the feds seized that site.
